Set Up AI SEO Analysis in WordPress with Claude

AI SEO analysis is an optional Ranklance feature that uses Claude, through your own Anthropic API key, to check entity coverage and answer readiness on your WordPress pages. Without it, scoring is rule-based. Nothing is sent to Anthropic until you add a key and tick the consent box.

Add your Claude (Anthropic) API key

1. Create an API key at console.anthropic.com.
2. In WordPress, go to Ranklance → Settings → Integrations.
3. Under AI Analysis (Anthropic Claude), paste it into Anthropic API Key and click Test Connection.
4. Tick Data-Sharing Consent, then click Save API Keys.

What is sent, and when

• Without consent: nothing. Ranklance uses rule-based analysis and contacts no AI service.
• With consent: page content (titles and body text) goes to Anthropic for analysis.
• Your key is stored encrypted and used only for your own requests. Anthropic bills you directly for usage.
